All of us make decisions according to our philosophy of life.  Most of us have probably never articulated our particular philosophy, but it surfaces in what we do.  A farmer with a science based philosophy may know and understand fully the benefit to using chemicals and keep abreast of the latest scientific answers and be convinced that is the way to go.  A farmer with a nature based philosophy understands that he is working with nature and nature’s processes.  He strives to do the things that lead to long term health, knowing it may take years.  The right decisions lead to improvements.   This philosophy is more of a nurturing process than a quick fix process.  There are many degrees of philosophy between these extremes.  All require planning and thinking to succeed.
