Grass Growth

Grass is the most complex and most misunderstood part of managing a ranch.  The trick is balancing quality and quantity.  It’s easy to have a high quantity of forage with low quality, and it’s easy to have a low quantity of high quality forage.  The other tricky part is to manage so that you’re not overgrazing the range.  So even if we have healthy soil, management is still the key to having the right quality and quantity of forage to meet today's needs and build litter on top of the soil to protect future productivity.
